    We believe that creating weddings with our clients is much more than the flowers we design. It is about helping to set the scene, create atmosphere and ultimately put a beautiful finishing touch on the true core of a wedding: a place you love, filled with people you love to celebrate the two of you in love.

    The art of floral design is steeped in history, dating back thousands of years to the Egyptians.

    Bouquets play a number of different roles; sent as a token of affection, to mark a celebration, by means of deep apology, birthdays, events or simply as a gift to oneself to cheer the soul. An ancient, meaningful and luxury necessity that brightens everyones day.

    Here at Goldstones Flowers we see each design as its own unique and momentary piece of art. Our bouquets focus on considered colour pairings, with a gorgeous variety of seasonal flower.

Our Story.

Goldstones Flowers was founded by Francesca Goldstone at the end of 2020. After a decade long career in floristry, it was time to start something new. 

Sitting in her family home in Clapham, Francesca visualised a business that could express her creativity; her love of colour theory, design, and always a playful use of a wide and wild variety of flower. Ever insightful and diligent, Francesca ultimately wanted a business that at the core cared about how her customers feel. It is this honest expression of our founders fundamental beliefs, both as business owner and customer herself, that eventually became the foundations of Goldstones Flowers. 

For the past 2 years we have been working out of our much beloved studio  in Vanguard Court. What was an old luggage factory, is now a long standing community of fellow creatives; from ceramicists and gardeners to set designers and artists. Down an old cobbled street, off busy Peckham Road, it is a friendly and bustling oasis that we are very happy to be a part of. 

You will also find us every Saturday at the award winning Brockley Market. 

Where Our Flowers Come From.

All of our flowers, foliage and plants come from the fantastic wholesalers at New Covent Garden Flower Market. There is something special to be said about getting up at the crack of dawn, being welcomed by David at GB Foliage with a cup of instant coffee and having a chat with the boys at Bloomfield that is unmatched in a floral world that is shifting online and essentially cutting this very human connection out.

Most of the wholesalers at New Covent Garden have been trading for decades. These family run businesses are the most knowledgable in their field, and I trust them implicitly to deliver quality goods time and time again. By buying from Goldstones Flowers, you in turn are supporting these unique, often lively and always exceptionally kind generational businesses.
